Welcome to Beach Acres Resort, a beachfront hotel in Parksville, a short 15 minute drive to Qualicum Beach. We are located on the east coast of Vancouver Island, where the rainforests meet the sea. Our oceanside resort is set on twenty-three acres of lush forest and spectacular scenery, boasting magnificent views of the ocean, islands and majestic mountain ranges. Our resort is situated directly on Rathetrevor beach. Come and beachcomb for shells and seaglass, enjoy watching eagles fly overhead, or go for a stroll on long stretches of soft sandy beach while you listen to the sound of rolling waves and breathe in the salty air!

Why Qualicum Beach?

As you drive through Qualicum Beach, you will see tall Douglas Firs and lace-leaf maples lining the streets. At night, you can enjoy listening to live music at one of the local pubs or restaurants while enjoying a glass of wine or beer with family and friends.
If you’d like to go for a walk along the boardwalk that runs through town, we highly recommend stopping at Marlin Cove Park - home to some playful seals! Make sure not to miss out on other great attractions such as The Boathouse Restaurant or locally-owned shops such as Wild Rose Studio & Gallery or Yarrow Flower Shop. In short, Qualicum Beach is a great location for nature lovers and families. Packed with beautiful landscapes, plenty of charming shops to pass away a leisurely afternoon, and culinary gems to satiate any appetite.

Beach Acres Resort

We offer spacious cottages and townhomes, with a variety of views, some right on the beach, some with a mix of forest and ocean and for those wanting extra privacy, forest views. Each of our units come with a fully equipped kitchen, most have 2 bedrooms, a flat screen tv, outdoor patio, complementary wi-fi and free parking. Beachfront Cottages

Our Beachfront cottages are located directly on the beach. These one and two bedroom units feature a wood or gas burning fireplace and at 475 square feet are our smallest units. But what you trade in for size, you make up for by the unobstructed view of the ocean and Sunshine Coast beyond. The living room has a double sleeper sofa, while each unit has its own fully-equipped kitchen. Cable TV, telephone with voicemail and secure wireless internet access are included in all rooms. All cottages have a patio overlooking the sea, a BBQ, and direct access to the beach.

Beachlevel Townhouses

Located behind our Beachlevel units, but still just steps away from the beach, our Beachlevel townhouses include two bedrooms, each with queen beds, a 1000 square feet of living space including a full kitchen and living room. You’ll find a double sleeper sofa in the living room, which can provide added sleeping space if needed. We also feature a 3 bedroom 1500 square foot unit which can accommodate up to 10 guests.
The 4 piece bathroom features a tub/shower combination and an abundance of storage space. These units feature their own BBQ.

Oceanview Townhouses

Close to all the amenities you love and perched on the bluffs with a full ocean view, our Oceanview townhouses sleep six in all the comfort of home.
Each unit features a fully equipped kitchen, wood or gas burning fireplace, a patio offering sweeping views of the beach and sunshine coast beyond, a Queen bed plus a second bedroom with twin beds. There is also a double sleeper sofa in the living room. This space offers approximately 900-1000 square feet of luxurious accommodation for your next vacation getaway.

Partial Oceanview Townhouses

Your Partial Oceanview units feature approximately 900-1000 square feet of living space. These are a mix of two storey townhouses with a balcony and single-level cottages, some with peak-a-boo ocean views! Each unit will feature a fully-equipped kitchen, 2 bedrooms most with a queen-sized bed in each room, a double sleeper sofa in the living room, a wood or gas fireplace, an outdoor patio to enjoy, and plenty of parking for multiple vehicles!

Forest Cottages

Listen to owls in the evening, watch bald eagles and deer during the day. If privacy, peace, and easy access to Beach Acres Resort’s many amenities sound appealing to you, look for our Forest units 54 – 75 on the resort map. These cottages are situated within mature stands of Douglas fir and cedar trees, offering spacious back and front yards - perfect for relaxing after a day at the beach. All forest cottages include a queen bed plus two single beds or bunk bed, along with a full size sleeper sofa in the living room and a four-piece bathroom with a tub and shower. Plenty of parking and an outdoor patio are also included. At 1000 square feet, these units will accommodate up to 6 guests.
